Wile the display itself it perfectly-structurally sound . The Felt has seen its day and is quite tired Looking . Thankfully the knives do a great job of distracting from it.
The knifes. Sabers or what have we are all in beautiful condition
The gold areas are layered in 24k gold. And the silver areas- other than the blade are heavy with electroplated sterling silver. Blades are steel.
They all measure 12” or a little better
They are 1 1/2 “ to 3” at their widest point.
The blades at the widest point are between 1/2” to 1 1/2” across.
Nice representation of a monumental time in our history baring arms.
