Bayonet argentine model for belgian FAL rifle with scabbard. Same used by the argentine troops in Falklands War
Manufactured in Argentina by the General Directorate of Military Manufacturing (Dirección General de Fabricaciones Militares in spanish), at the Domingo Matheu Military Portable Weapons Factory (Fábrica Militar de Armas Portátiles Domingo Matheu in spanish) in Rosario City.
It was used in the rifle, caliber 7.62x51 mm. This bayonet has a flexible mounting, since being pegged it can move forward only, pressing a spring of the mounting that has the object of interfering less in the precision of the shot.
Blade with parallel edges, point to the center, section of the rhomboidal blade, with a cutting edge along the entire length of the lower part and with a counter-cutting edge of a length of 120 mm.
Handle with black plastic grips, with a thin transverse seam, fastened with two screws.
The lock lever is located on the back of the knob.
The pommel and cross are parkerized. The scabbard is metallic parkerized.
