Roscoe's Stix
Shillelaghs, Walking Stick, Staffs, and Primitive Weapons
Each of Roscoe's Stix starts off as a branch of a tree.  It is air-dried for months, carefully sanded, and carved to perfection using hand tools.  It is adorned with precision using mostly natural products,
and it is finished with top-quality stains and finishes.
Roscoe is a hobby crafter.  He works a full-time job often into overtime and comes home to spend his remaining daylight crafting.  Each of these sticks is handcrafted by one human.  None will be perfect, but all will be beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind items.  Each will be signed and numbered by the artist. Please refer to the pictures for your best description.
Gun Stock Tomahawk #65
This gun stock tomahawk is #2 in a series of these primitive weapons that Roscoe has made.  You can find #1 in another listing if you care to check.  It is #65 in his collection.
The gun stock was hand carved from pine burned to bring out the natural beauty of the wood, and finished in a semi gloss poly.  The blade was crafted from a vintage steel square, shaped, sharpened, and bolted in place, burying the tang deep into the wood.  Its not going anywhere but through whatever is in your way.
Stock Length: 36"
Point length: 5.25"
Point Width: 1.5"
This is a playful, whimsical piece that will look good in any man cave, on any wall, and it will complement a number of cultured themes.  It is a real weapon, however, and can be used to slash a predator...or whatever. It is not a toy!
The vintage square used to make the point is several decades old.  You can find other weapons made with this steel in our other listings.  Make sure you check out his other Gun Stock Tomahawks or Spears to collect all of Roscoe's points made to date.
We also have many Shillelaghs, Walking Sticks, and Staffs listed, with new listings going up weekly.  Make sure to check back!
Payment
We use eBay Payment Management System
Shipping
We will most times include shipping in out listing.  We will always detail what part of the asking price is designated towards shipping your item.  We will always use the carrier that offers us the very best price to ship your item.
Handling
We reserve 3 business days to handle your item and prepare it for shipping.  We craft our own boxes!  It is a way to save both you and us money!  We work hard to get it right and make sure your stick arrives undamaged.  Sometimes the box is "not pretty," depending on the tools we have at the time, but it will always be safe harbor for your treasure to travel in!
Returns
Roscoe does not accept returns.  Please make sure you read the description and study the pictures of the item you are bidding on.  The only time we would accept a return is if we were at fault and sent you the wrong item.  Other than that, our sticks are far below the market price, and with the amount of work he puts into his hobby, there should be no need for a return.  You don't accidentally go looking for a walking stick or shillelagh, and you wont find more for your money.
Cancellations
We are a working class family.  We get it...Life happens!  If you had something come up, and you can no longer afford your purchase, message us.  We will either cancel your purchase, or we can work with you to give you more time to come up with the cash.  However, don't abuse this policy! Your bid is a legal contract to purchase.  If we let you out of this contract, it's because we are decent folks who understands the value of a dollar.
Special Orders!
YES! Roscoe can accommodate your special orders!  If you have something in mind, send him a message.  If he can create it, he will.  We don't accept returns, so we will require no deposit, but we reserve the right to sell your creation on the open market if you back out.
Once the stick is completed, you will be notified, and a special private listing will be created for you to purchase your treasure.
Other...
Roscoe works hard on these sticks.  This is a hobby craft for him.  He also works a full-time job with overtime.  Crafting these sticks is what he does in his evenings and on his weekend off days.  Please understand if he can not respond to you immediately... chances are he is at work.  This is something all people should understand.
Please keep in mind, a lot of work goes into this craft.  He starts off with a bare branch of a tree.  Each stick can take up to 5 days to create.  None of them will be perfect.  None of them will be assembly line products.  They are crafted one at a time by one human.  It is a labor of love.
