Bastard combat sword with sheathBastard combat sword with sheath
This blunt reconstruction of a late medieval sword is hand-forged. Straight and twisted protection and knob are made of thermally treated malleable cast iron. The spring steel blade is oil-tempered up to 48-50 rockwell, forged up to the handle and bolted with the knob. The wooden gip is covered in leather. The blade has a distinctive fuller that reaches almost half the leaf and offers both flexibility and less weight. The edges of this medieval one-and-a-half sword are dull and the tip is rounded for added safety.
The sword comes with a leather-lined wooden sheath with metal lining.
