Condition:
The bayonet is in good serviceable condition. Catch is smooth and the spring is strong. The pommel has some nicks, rust and a few scratches. Two wood handles have some small gouges, nicks and scratches. Guard looks good and retains its regular shape, it has light rust, but no pitting.
Blade has no pitting, but it does have rust and scratches.
Knife comes to a point and the tip is intact. Some of the finish still remains. Sheath is in fair condition with some minor dents and rust marks. Throat is in good condition. Most of the finish is gone on the sheath. Bayonet and sheath may need a light cleaning to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
