Howling Winds VS-7 (TIP .65- 070) is manufactured from virgin hard rubber rod using the latest Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) and then reed table, tip, rails and chamber are meticulously hand finished for a perfected
mouthpiece that will play as intended when you receive it from us at HOWLING WINDS MUSIC.
The combination of a high baffle, open throat passage, precise tip and rail finishing make this a great mouthpiece for jazz both contemporary and traditional. It has a warm core with a slight edge.
All of Howling Winds Mouthpieces are tested by a professional saxophonist for ease of play, accurate intonation, altissimo accuracy and esthetics. All mouthpieces are sterilized before they are shipped to customers.
