Cross sword w. Octagonal knob, s. XIII, practical blunt, SK-CCross sword w. Octagonal knob, s. XIII, practical blunt, SK-C
Play ready for the battle of a sword of a high medieval hand, as worn, for example, by crusaders of various orders during the Holy Crusades. The appeal of this sword lies in its octagonal knob, which differs from the more widespread disc-shaped knob.
This sword is made exclusively by hand. The beautifully shaped protector and octagonal knob are made of thermally treated malleable cast iron. The spring steel blade is tempered in oil up to 48-50 rockwell and hand-riveted to the knob. The handle has leather straps. The blade has a distinctive fuller that offers great flexibility and lower weight. The edges of the blade are dull and the tip is rounded for added safety.
The beautiful wooden sheath is lined in leather and features a wooden belt loop (maximum belt width 5 cm), as well as a layer of steel.
