    , very handy Cable Splice Repair Connectors for 3/8" Cables.
    This is for cable size 3/8". These splice connectors are designed to simply screw into your cable where the kinked area is. Just cut out the bad area and splice the two ends together.
    Inside Cable Diameter Is Approximately 1/4" For a 3/8" Cable - Know Your Cable Before Ordering
    I have these for 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" Cables. Once you install them, they will not come out period. They can be installed about every 10' if needed. It will save you the price of a cable and is an affordable easy field repair.
