The Miaodao (Corn Leaf Saber) is another design by Sifu Adam Hsu.
This elegant sword is very fast at less than 2 pounds and the high carbon ribbed blade whistles beautifully on the cutting stroke. The handle is tied in rattan to prevent slips.
For students qualified to use a live leaf, the sword adapts well to both the Miaodao form and martial applications.
