Julius Keilwerth SX90R Alto Saxophone - Vintage

About and History:
This is a Julius Keilwerth SX90R Alto Saxophone, keyed in Eb. Purchased in 1997 while I was heavily involved in music. The sax was very well cared with routine maintenance performed professionally a few times per year while it was played. If your someone who is curious the shop that did all the maintenance was Lights for Music in Eugene Oregon which is no longer around sadly. Around 2008 I stopped playing this instrument. My decision to sell it is motivated by a need to help pay for graduate school I'm attending this year otherwise I would keep as its a really great sounding horn that's made very well.
Serial Number
Serial number is 104142 (see picture of serial stamp) from my research this would indicate a production date sometime near 1996, however I'm no expect so please do your own research if date of production is important to you in a purchase decision.
Condition:
No major damage to the instrument, it has never been dropped or abused beyond normal use from practice and performance. There is some brass that is worn and areas of typical wear for a saxophone but nothing out of the ordinary for an instrument that was played frequently.
Linkages, cork, and pads may require some basic maintenance. Before listing this instrument was played and my only clear observation was that low C and E flat pads don't seal in some fingering positions, I did not notice anything else wrong however its possible there are other issues that may require attention to a trained eye. I highly recommend you take it to a competent instrument servicer and have a basic tune up performed.
One last note, in my youth for some reason I decided to color in "Julis Keilwerth" on the carrying case with some redish paint, I can't tell you why I did it but its there.. you could probably remove it if you needed to.
