    Marto / Windlass Tancred's Sword
    Marto / Windlass Tancred's Sword
Prince Tancredo (known in French as Tancréde de Hauteville) was a Norman, Lord of southern Italy, who was one of the first nobles to join the Crusades in 1096. He saw considerable victories in this bloody campaign, and after the fall of Jerusalem he was awarded the title Prince of Galilee. Our excellent Sword of Tancredo has been rescued from the adventures of this legendary knight.
The knob has on the one hand, a design of the red flower known as «Nurit» (anemone) of Galilee, and on the other, it is adorned with the cross of the Crusaders, which Tancredo adopted during the Crusades. The wooden handle has been covered with a soft brown sewn leather, accented with antique brass details.
A deep spike runs along the length of the 5 cm wide blade, giving great balance to this excellent sword.
Includes brown leather sheath with a long leather belt.
    Length: 101 cm.
    Leaf: 84 cm.
    Weight: 1.5 kg.
