Description
Monique is a brand that is admired by many. There is no model type listed on the horn. I have no personal experience with it but have read many reviews about the brand of which I have included a few here. The company listed this horn as "Professional". This horn was purchase as part of a small group of instruments. Since I already own a Tenor Sax I am selling this horn. The prior owner was a professional saxophonist and I was told that he used it as his backup instrument until his death. It is used, I have not played this horn. Pads looks very good. Mouthpiece is in very good condition. It has some scratches as to be expected on a used horn but nothing significant enough to note. There may be some very minor dings but I did not notice any, see pictures. It has some partially worn lacquer. I would expect that it may need to be tuned by an experienced person.
Includes a Professional Tenor Saxophone SKB hard contour case that is in very good conditions. Snaps, closures, hinges, handles and interior are all good condition.

Monique Pro series are great saxophones. I owned an alto, and soprano. They both play great and sound great. Key works are great. Pads are great. I practiced 3-4 hours a day for 3 years. The horns are still in good working order. I played saxophone for over 30 years, I played 95% of brands in the market. I am a player, not a promoter, or a trader.
I bought two Professional Monique saxophones, a nickel plated tenor and a soprano. In the past I played a Selmer Mark VI and a Mark VII, and the Monique is better than both of them, the tone, the action, the response--everything. I find it is identical to the Selmer Series II. There are a number of professional sax players who are buying them. It is the best deal going for a good horn.
BTW, I used to play a Yanagasawa soprano, and the Monique outplays it too.
