This brutal circa 1300 replica mace is made from four bars of steel with a large steel pommel to help balance it. Wood and leather grip.
OVERVIEW
Circa 1300
The remains of a mace of this design were found in the River Thames, but they were in widespread use all across Europe by mid 14th Century. Little finesse was needed for this brutal mace, and a warrior strong enough to wield it could crush helms and break swords with the heavy blows it could deliver. Made from four bars of steel with a wood and leather grip and a large steel pommel to help balance it, this is indeed an awesome weapon. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
Overall: 28-3/4"
Blade: 20" x 2" x 3/16"
Weight: 4 lbs, 8 oz

Solid, well made, historically accurate. Totally bad-ass, I don't think you'll be disappointed. All 5 star reviews online

I do the photos myself to try to give you a good idea of what this weapon is really like. I'm a collector and a weekend warrior, active in local re-enactment groups and Ren Fair so I get lots of hands-on feedback. I sell what I own and can recommend! Maces, morning stars and war hammers came into widespread use as advances in plate mail made swords ineffectual.
