    Description
    This charming 2 oz silver coin is another issue from the “Three Kingdoms Romance” series. It is dedicated to the famous Sisters of Qiao.
    The Qiao Sisters are important supporting figures of the 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, based on the “Records of the Three Kingdoms”, written by Chen Shou in the third century. They are the characters of this novel. They lived in the late Eastern Han Dynasty in China. One of the sisters was married to a warlord, another to a general.
    The coin features high relief that is why every detail of the coin is perfectly visible. There are some neat historical touches, which make this coin even more gorgeous. The artist decided to add an interesting emphasis to this coin in the form of a colourful butterfly, which adds lightness to the coin.
    The reverse of the coin wonderfully portrays the Qiao Sisters. They are beautifully posed and the subtle colour of the butterfly is a super focal point for the eye. The obverse of the coin contains the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by Chinese drawings. Issue volume is limited and amounts to 500 pieces. The coin comes with a certificate of authenticity in a themed box.
