Vintage 1960s K & B Ford GT 40 Challenger Slot Car.
In 1964 K&B went into slot car racing in a big way, producing beautiful and well engineered slot car kits and RTR (ready to race) slot cars.
K&B manufactured both 1/32 and 1/24th scale slot cars, as well as a large range of slot car parts.  The first of the K&B cars produced used the US made Challenger and Super Challenger motors, later they would also offer a more powerful motor, which came in the form of the Mabuchi style 'Can' motor as in the Jaguar.  In later cars they used the US made 'Can' style Hellcat motor.
This 1/24th scale Ferrari 250 is in as last raced condition, very nice overall, spun aluminum wheels with simulated wire wheel inserts, original red body is unpainted, all the 'glass' is intact, missing the rear valance and the pickup shue.  Powered by the Challenger sidewinder motor, motor has not been tested.
