This beautiful Templar sword features a spring-hardened steel blade that was tempered to a Rockwell hardness of approx. 48-50 HRC and has engraved the inscription MILITARIS TEMPLI on one side and three crosses pattée on the other. It has full nipples and is riveted to the knob. The most complete wide distinctive extends almost to the tip of the blade, which not only provides great flexibility, but also reduces the weight of the knight’s sword with one hand.
The cross protection is forged in steel and the leather-lined wooden handle is covered with a flat steel knob in the shape of a disc (or wheel knob) engraved on both sides with a Templar cross motif. The beautiful wooden core sheath is covered in leather and comes complete with a rolled-up carrying belt around it.
