The original of this beautiful reconstruction was once handled by one of the most prominent English knights, Sir William Marshal, first Earl of Pembroke, who served faithfully and without hesitation to the British crown under Henry II, Richard the Lionheart and John Lackland. The sword is now stored in a British museum.
Our sword is a precisely detailed replica of the original. It is made exclusively by hand. The steel guard and knob stand out for their elegant and functional simplicity. The spring steel blade is hand-riveted to the knob. The handle has leather straps. The blade is tempered in oil up to 48-50 rockwell and has a distinctive fuller that offers great flexibility and lower weight. The edges of the blade are not sharp.
The beautiful wooden sheath is lined in leather and features brass rings to secure it properly to the sword belt.
