I L Maduro,Jr  was active during the building of the Panama Canal during the years 1904-1914.  Many of his copyrighted prints are held at the University of Texas and there are many in the Library of Congress. Maduro Jr owned a shop in Panama City, selling novelties, booklets, and even Chanel items.
