    Description
    The most amusing series of commemorative coins has been created for the youngest collectors and depicts children’s favorite cartoon characters, such as Miś Uszatek, the Wolf and the Hare from ‘Nu, pogodi!’, Bolek and Lolek, Reksio, Scooby–Doo and others. This Niue coin of 2010 is dedicated to Tweety, an iconic yellow canary from one of the most favorite cartoon series.
    The obverse design features selected scenes depicting various cartoon characters. Above the image, there is a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The upper part of the obverse contains the inscriptions denoting the Queen’s name and the coin’s face value. The name of the issuing country and the coin’s mintage year are indicated below the image.
    The pad printed image of Tweety is the centerpiece of the coin reverse. Sylvester the Cat,  known for its unsuccessful attempts to capture Tweety, is depicted in the background. Also referred to as Tweety Pie or Tweety Bird, this sweet and innocent-looking baby canary always outsmarts his opponent. Happy to stay in his cage, Tweety slips out of Sylvester's preying paws and manages to land the poor cat in hot water when he comes prowling around.
