Wakizashi John Lee Zaza IaitoWakizashi John Lee Zaza Iaito
Zaza is made of Japanese bamboo. Due to its straight growth and its fresh green color, it is synonymous with growth and purity. In Japanese culture, it is also considered a symbol of good luck.
The lightweight, well-balanced blade is hand-forged in 420 stainless steel and is not sharpened. The handle is traditionally wrapped in black cotton, covered with royal striped leather. The ornamentation of the sword (tsuba, fuchi, kashira, menuki) shows bamboo motifs. The high-gloss black lacquered sheath was also decorated with golden bamboo leaves and knotted with high-quality two-tone Sageo. The ends of the pod (Koiguchi, Kurigata, Kojiri) are made of fine buffalo horn.
The sword comes with a printed cloth bag, collector’s box, stamp and certificate.
